How to get to DRI from the Airport

By Taxi: EUR 22, cca. 60 minutes

Queue at the taxi stand to receive a written quote for your fare, then pay when you arrive at your destination. The fare can be paid in Euros as well as HUF, but it is slightly more expensive if paid in Euros.

By Minibus service: EUR 10 per person, cca. 90 minutes

The so-called ’Airport Minibus service’ is a shared taxi operation that collects passengers going in the same direction. Join the queue at the airport and you will be on your way in 15 minutes.

By Budapest public transport (Bus 200 + Metro 3 + Tram 4-6): EUR 4 per person, cca. 110 minutes

Travel by bus 200 to Kőbánya-Kispest, then by metro line 3 (blue line) to Nyugati tér, from there by tram number 4 or number 6 to Mechwart liget in the direction of Moszkva tér. Walk up Keleti Károly utca. The first street to the right is Buday László.

By Railway + Tram: EUR 3 per person, cca. 60 minutes. Only from the Terminal 1!

If your flight lands at Terminal 1, there is an inexpensive train service from the nearby Ferihegy station directly to Nyugati train station. Tickets can be purchased from the information kiosks in the airport, NOT in the station or NOT on board from a conductor. (Budapest public transport tickets and travelcards are NOT valid on this train). Trains run two or three times an hour, the journey takes about 25 minutes. From Nyugati tér you can travel by tram numbers 4 or 6 to Mechwart liget in the direction of Moszkva tér. Walk up Keleti Károly utca. First street to the right is Buday László.

By car:

There is some scarcity nearby the DRI in the parking possibilities. Parking costs on the streets approx. 1 Euro/hour and the maximum duration is three hours. (Parking tickets are available at the ticket machines, which accept only HUF coins.) There are also some garages and car parks with long-time parking possibilities nearby:
